- ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A security guard has died after his pickup went into Knik Arm at the Port of Anchorage. Police are investigation whether the Monday evening incident was an accident or intentional. The Anchorage Daily News reports the truck was recovered during low tide Tuesday. Police estimate the
truck went into water 50 feet deep Monday evening after it rolled or was intentionally driven into the water. Police identified the driver as 42-year-old Joseph Renteria, a Doyon Universal Services Security Division employee who has worked port security for a month. The longtime Doyon employee's body has been sent for an autopsy.
