- FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A woman was found seriously injured at a homeless camp in Fairbanks. The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says the 58-year-old woman was found unconscious on Thursday and taken to Anchorage, where she was put on life support. Police said the woman was off life support on Tuesday but remained in the hospital. Fairbanks police are investigating. They say they do not know how the woman came to suffer the life-threatening injury. Her name is not being released.
