- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The Coast Guard says three boaters who were reported overdue have returned to Chenega Bay on their own. Petty Officer Sara Francis says the Chenega Bay village public safety officer reported that the boaters returned to the village Sunday in good condition. The Coast Guard launched a search for the boaters earlier Sunday. The boaters left Chenega Bay in a 17-foot skiff, Miller Time, on Saturday en route to Shelter Bay to go fishing. The boaters were expected back by Saturday night.
