Anchorage pedestrian killed after being hit by car

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 64-year-old man has been killed after being struck by a car in Anchorage. According to the Anchorage Daily News, the man was hit near a busy intersection in mid-town Anchorage on Tuesday evening. Police say a woman was turning her car right out of a bank parking lot and onto C street when she hit the man identified as H. James Castro. He was taken to Providence Alaska Medical Center, where he later died. An autopsy is planned.
