Board of Fish member resigns

- SOLDOTNA, Alaska (AP) - A member of the Alaska Board of Fish has resigned. KSRM-AM reports that William Brown has stepped down for personal reasons. He was partway through his second, three-year term on the board, where he served as a vice chairman. His resignation was effective immediately. Governor Sean Parnell spokeswoman Sharon Leighow says the replacement process has been started and the governor has 30 days to fill the vacancy.
