- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Police say drinking likely led to a death of a man whose body was found outside in mid-town Anchorage on Saturday. The Anchorage Daily News reports that the man had been drinking with his girlfriend at an intersection near 36th Ave. and Springer Street when they lay down for a nap. Police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker says the man never woke up and his girlfriend discovered that he had died. Police have not identified the man, but say he was in his 30s. Parker says police are still working on notifying the man's next of kin.
