Fugitive guide back in custody

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say an anonymous tip led to the arrest of a fugitive hunting guide, who was found hiding under a bed at a home in Big Lake. Troopers say Michael Roberts cut off his ankle monitor last week in Anchorage. He was out on bail for allegedly guiding without a guide's license, flying without a pilot's license and driving without a valid driver's license. The 50-year-old Roberts disappeared from his custodian's home Oct. 4. A tip led troopers to a Big Lake home, and Roberts was found under a bed. Troopers say Roberts has fled from authorities before. In 1999, he ran from troopers who tried to arrest him after an undercover investigation was conducted. He was found six months later.
