Seward man dies on Twentymile River

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The body of a Seward man has been recovered from Twentymile River. 69-year-old Harold Moore died after a boat sank Monday.  State Troopers say he and two others were in a 16-foot aluminum boat, and the propeller hit a log about 4.5 miles north of the Seward Highway near Girdwood. The current pushed the boat back into more logs.  The boat took on water and started to sink. All three men in the boat were dumped into the river. Two made it to shore and called troopers as Moore was seen floating downstream.  The cause of death for Moore, who was wearing a full flotation suit, was not immediately known. An autopsy was ordered. Troopers didn't know who was driving the boat.
