- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Most of the high wind warnings from a large storm in the Bering Sea have been canceled. National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Peterson says coastal flood warnings remain in effect for the Bristol Bay and Kuskokwim Delta regions and for the Pribilof Islands. He says storm warnings remain in effect on the Bering Sea for mariners. Cities along the western coast can expect high surf as the storm tracks north and inland through Thursday. Jeremy Zidek, spokesman for the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, says the division hasn't received any reports of damage at this time.
