Human remains found south of Point Hope identified

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - North Slope Borough police say human remains found near Point Hope have been identified as those of a 23-year-old Noorvik  woman who was reported missing earlier this year. The remains were found 13 miles south of Point Hope July 4. According to police, the remains were sent to the state medical examiner's office and identified as Shellain Adams. Police say the investigation into the cause and circumstances of the death continues.
