- JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a lost Juneau hiker was found with the help of satellite coordinates recorded from her cellphone.  KINY-radio reports Juneau police received a 911 call Friday morning from 30-year-old Tiffany Mahle saying she was lost and disoriented. Police determined the coordinates from the call put Mahle at the top of Spaulding Meadows in the Tongass National Forest. A trail at Mile 12.3 Glacier Highway leads a little more than three miles to the meadows. State Wildlife Troopers, U.S. Forest Service rangers and Juneau Mountain Rescue personnel hiked the trail and found Mahle about two and a half miles from the trailhead.
